We are honored to endorse Linda Adams for City Council. She has certainly put in the time and effort to learn about the many aspects and complexities involved in keeping a city functioning well. And Linda, in her very unassuming and quiet manner and temperament, possesses the two qualities that, together, make her a tremendous asset to our city governance: immense experience-based knowledge and heart-based community spirit. She is conversant with all sides of the issues, listens well and looks for consensus whenever possible. At the same time, she has shown up for years as a coordinator for the Ashland Food Project and many other efforts on behalf of our entire community. Please join us and vote for Linda Adams for City Council.

From the beginning of her residence in Ashland, Linda integrated herself into the city, volunteering to maintain or improve the quality of life for all of us. I admire and respect that she steps up to the plate and accepts responsibility for difficult jobs. She comes to meetings prepared-she reads the packet to the last line! In meetings, she doesn’t take over but offers thoughtful suggestions that help people come to a decision. In my opinion Linda is inclusive; she cares about life in Ashland for all of us. I have witnessed her passion for safe streets for all, action on climate adaptation, and commitment to the Ashland food project. I gladly support Linda Peterson Adams for city council.

I support Linda Peterson Adams for Ashland City Council simply because I believe she will do a great job listening to the people of Ashland and making the best decisions for the good of Ashland. Linda is smart and committed, and does her homework. She is independent minded and focuses on the most effective solutions each and every time. She works tirelessly for our community advocating for transportation accessibility, neighborhood food collection and climate action. She is reliable and respectful toward others. Linda cares about our community and is committed to fiscal responsibility and creating a more diverse and equitable place for people to live and work. When we disagree, my voice is still heard and that matters to me. Linda makes room for different perspectives and we need her advocacy to help build a stronger future for Ashland.
